About Eivind Hansen
I'm Eivind Hansen, a London-based photographer specializing in art, portrait, and fashion photography. Originally from Tromsø, Norway, my approach to light and color is shaped by growing up in a city where the Northern Lights illuminate long, dark winters.
I hold a degree in fashion photography from UAL's London College of Fashion and a background in fine art photography from Oslo Photo Art School. Over the years, I've worked with brands and organizations like Yohji Yamamoto, the United Nations, Adobe Photoshop, B&H Photo Video, and Kaleidoscope Trust. I'm also a brand ambassador for Nanlite, a leading lighting manufacturer.
Beyond photography, I teach for Domestika, sharing knowledge and techniques with aspiring creatives worldwide. My work is more than just imagery—it's about storytelling, representation, and impact. In 2018, my series celebrating trans activists for the United Nations' Orange the World campaign earned me the Gay Times Honours for Arts and Culture.
Lighting is a huge part of my creative process, and I love using bold, colorful setups to create striking visuals. If you're looking for a photographer with a distinctive style and a passion for meaningful imagery, let's connect.
